eFinity Lighted Mirror Brightens a Dull Bathroom on Houzz
Midwest designer chooses Electric Mirror to create a stunning make-up area

An eFinity™ Mirror with LED Lighting was chosen for an eye-catching bath renovation that can be found on the popular designer website Houzz.
The eFinity serves as the vanity mirror in a make-up area that was carved out of a residential bathroom challenged for space and lighting. In the Sleek and Contemporary Bathroom Remodel, designer Sheree Vincent was able to create a cozy corner that’s inviting, well lit, and incredibly practical.
The frosted panels in the mirror are not only attractive, but they bring exactly the right touch for this vanity space, according to Vincent, the principal of Fusion Designed located in the Twin Cities region.
“I love the style, the sleek configuration, and the way the lights come through the mirror,” Vincent said of the eFinity. She said she especially loves the way the lights are on all sides of the mirror, “It gives you the best lighting for putting on make-up.”
The bathroom overhaul was completed about a year ago at the request of a client who wanted a fresh look for herself and her daughter. Vincent described the home as, “mid-century modern,” with a color scheme that favored natural grays and earth tones. “The plan was to create a bath with clean lines, something easy to care for and with a color story that went with the rest of the home – they also wanted it to be as sustainable as possible.”

Going with the eFinity Lighted Mirror in the new bathroom was an easy choice for Vincent, who said she’s loved Electric Mirror products since seeing her first Lighted Mirror in a Designer Showcase Home a few years back.
“Architecturally, these Mirrors are beautiful,” she said. “They just draw the eye to it.”
In carving out the new make-up space in the remodel, Vincent started by pulling out the old fixtures, including a dated make-up mirror. “It had those Hollywood lights – it had to go,” she said. For the vanity countertop, Vincent replaced the countertop with Cambria, a quartz product, choosing a light mushroom shade. A cushioned bench seat that can be pulled out as needed, or tucked away, completes the space. “The overall color scheme has shades of taupe, espresso, and mushroom. “It’s very organic,” said Vincent.
Keeping an eye on sustainability was another reason Vincent said she chose Electric Mirror, opting for the upgrade to LED Lighting. “LED is a real energy savings when you look at sustainability. “Longevity is important here, you aren’t dumping bulbs in a landfill.”
Other sustainable features in the new bath included using water based paints, choosing cabinets made locally and “water sense” shower fixtures. The make-up area is defined from the rest of the bath with vertical cabinets that provide plenty of storage for hair dryers and other tools.
Vincent said she couldn’t have been more pleased with the finished vanity and has been pleased with the notice it’s gotten on Houzz.
