Hospitality Design Sustainable Suite, HD Expo
WATG and IDEO won the 2010 US Green Building Council Sustainable Suite Design at HD Expo. Above the bathroom vanity hangs a Silhouette™ lighted mirror, eliminating the need for additional light fixtures. The mirror is lit with long-life, low-mercury fluorescent lamps that are maintenance-free, which reduces lamp landfill waste.

Guests were booked a year in advance for The Fairmont Pacific Rim, a waterfront hotel in Vancouver B.C. that opened in conjunction with the 2010 Winter Olympics. Custom Reflection™ lighted mirror TVs are the centerpiece of 377 guest bathrooms designed by CHIL Design Group. In Chinese the Fairmont's street number, 1038, serendipitously stands for "road to riches."

The Ritz-Carlton, Los Angeles is a stunning luxury hotel at L.A. LIVE, nicknames the "Times Square of the West." It is the impressive result of the collaboration between acclaimed architectural design firm Gensler and interior designer Barry Design. Opened in April, the project boasts 123 guestrooms including 13 suites, all with Silhouette lighted mirror TVs illuminating the lush bathrooms.
