How is the vanity Mirror TV hung?
The vanity Mirror TV is hung with traditional mirror mounting brackets. A “Z” clip is mounted onto the back of the mirror, near the top end. This clip corresponds with a traditional wall mounted bracket.

How does one access the TV?
Access to the TV is easy and convenient. By just lifting the mirror off the wall, the TV is revealed.

Is the LCD-TV removable? How?
The LCD-TV is easy to remove. Simply remove 3 screws on either side of the TV and you can swap out the screen.

What types of inputs does the TV have?
The Mirror TV has the following inputs: RF, S Video, VGA, Composite Video, Audio In and Audio Out.

How resilient is the LCD-TV to damage, dirt or moisture?
The Mirror TV is very resilient to damage, dirt and moisture. The TV is covered by glass which protects it from things being set upon it or hotel guests moving it, touching it or hanging things on it. To clean, simply wipe the mirror with any mirror cleaner!

What is the lifespan of the LCD-TV?
The LCD-TV has a long lifespan of 40,000 hours.

Why do we use a LCD-TV instead of a Plasma?
LCD-TVs are more durable than Plasmas, they typically last longer and LCD-TVs don’t get as hot as Plasmas.

Where do the Mirror TV speakers go? How many
of them are there?
Either one double tweeter speaker or one single mon speaker is installed in the ceiling. This position provides the best possible sound quality.

Does the Mirror TV completely vanish in the off
position? Are there different display options available?Electric Mirror® offers 3 types of technologies for the
Mirror TV: BOE Technology, AV Technology and
V-Mirror Technology. The V-Mirror Technology allows
the Mirror TV to completely vanish in the off postion.
(Please see the follow descriptions for each of the
display technologies.)

BOE Technology: In the on position, this technology
allows the LCD-TV to display 99% of its brightness,
permitting brillian colors and clarity to transmit. When
turned off, a black area is displayed. BOE Technology is
ideal for bathroom application because it can be used
with the brightest mirror possible. Most economical of
all 3 of technologies.

AV-Technology: This technology allows the LCD-TV to
Display 99% of its brightness, permitting brilliant colors
and clarity to transmit in the on position and to almost
vanish in the off position. When turned off, a reflective
surface replaces the once displayed TV screen. This
interchangeable area slightly varies fro the surrounding
mirror. AV Technology is ideal for bathroom application
because it can be used with the brightest mirror possible.

V-Mirror Technology: This technology allows the LCD-
TV to display through the glass of the mirror when in the
on position and completely vanish when turned off.
Please note, V-Mirror Technology glass affects the
brilliance and brightness of the LCD-TV screen display
as well as the mirror. Not recommended for bathroom
application.
